Lumitex spins out a new company, MuReva Phototherapy Inc., based on project initiated by Vedang Kothari, who has been appointed as the new company’s President and CEO. The company will focus on the development and commercialization of a technology which uses phototherapy to treat oral mucositis, a common side effect of cancer treatment in which the patient develops painful or debilitating ulcers in the soft tissues within the oral cavity.
