MuReva Phototherapy announced today that they have been selected as one of the 2022 “Cool Companies” by Connect, a San Diego-based organization that helps promote top technology and life sciences startups for funding. Cool Companies is an annual Connect program designed to match innovative technology and life science startups with quality venture capital firms. Companies across all areas of technology and life sciences who are ready to raise their first round of institutional venture funding are selected and provided introductions to potential investors through this program.

Connect’s mission is to provide resources, support, and capital access to promising startups. “We work to connect the right companies to the right funds, based upon the characteristics of the companies, and the investment profiles of the funds.” says Mike Krenn, CEO of Connect. Connect is part of the San Diego & Imperial Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network and has relationships with more than 300 venture funds across the country.

Connect is a community nonprofit organization passionate about helping tech and life science entrepreneurs build great companies. Connect serves entrepreneurs throughout their growth journey with a suite of curated programs aimed to help companies grow, gain access to capital, and scale. They actively engage the venture capital community outside the region, and make targeted introductions for quality companies.

MuReva will join other Cool Companies at the San Diego Innovation Day Five·Ten·Thirty program being held on April 28, 2022 where company leaders will have the opportunity to present to a large group of venture capitalists. This program will feature Venture Capitalist, Angel investors, CEOs, CTOs, and 100+ Tech and Life Science companies who are driving the innovation.
